THE STIRES ARRIVE IN THE UNITED STATES FROM ALBANIA....

                                              ...AND I AM THERE
IN HOUSTON TO BE WITH THEM!

On Friday, May 21, I drove from Somerville to Houston (the home of Bill and Amanda Boyd) to be with my family.
Stephanie (the gal to the far left in the photo below) Flowers, my youngest daughter, arrived from Valencia, California to surprise them.

What a great time we had!

We celebrated Whitney's 11th birthday on Saturday and then on Sunday we celebrated a huge Thanksgiving dinner.  Other family members were there (Tom & Wanda, Greg & Elise and their three children)!  We had a marvelous time together!  Memories were made!

Bill and his sweet wife, Amanda, live in Houston where they so graciously invited us all to
inhabit their home for several nights and days.
Thanks Bill!
Thanks Amanda!
We love you dearly!

I am thankful, to the Lord, for the ministry Kris, Chelle, Kaitlyn, Whitney, Sierra and Breanna have in Tirana, Albania. What a joy to know that they are following the call of God and seeing Him bless them.
                    "Thank You, Father!"

As you are reading this blog, would you please pray for their ministry.
Also, pray for good health for each of them and that their financial support will be in abundance.

Please visit their blog at http://www.stiretestimonial.blogspot.com/ .

If the Lord lays their ministry on your heart to help with their financial needs, please do contact them.

You are a blessing!
Thank you!

MOVING!

Moving progress in Somerville!
Our little storage shed finds a new home!

Bud and I had wanted to remove the small storage shed in our back yard for some time, but we just never got around to it.  Seemed at the time like a larger project than what we wanted to tackle!

Well, once the shed was cleaned out, the task seemed smaller and do-able!

The decision then was to tear it down or give it to someone who might want to put it to use.  But who would want to move it?

I inquired with several people.  All seemed to be interested in it until the mode of transportation to move it was addressed.  It would most definitely have to be lifted onto a flat bed trailer.  No one seemed to have one....well, everyone but one gentleman.

On Monday, May 24, 2010, at 9 PM, our little shed was moving down 9th Street of Somerville to its new home!

I just had to get photos!

                                     BIG HAPPENINGS IN SOMERVILLE!
